In terms of my educational background, I have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. I have an MSc in Biology from Queen's and a B.S.Ch. in Biochemistry, also from Queen's.
Experience
My background in tutoring includes six years as a University TA and over eleven years of tutoring experience. I firmly believe in studying smart and using the right resources and take pride in my students' success. In addition, I have also participated in TA training programs, as part of my professional development. As my background is in the sciences, I tutor primarily biology, chemistry, and physics at the high school level. I also tutor students how to speak Chinese and how to read Pinyin, and can teach biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physics at the university level as well. In addition to these subjects, I also tutor high school students of all ages in mathematics, including those taking AP classes.
